Ticket to the Knut Hamsun summer exhibition 2025

Knut Hamsun moved with his family to Nørholm Manor outside Grimstad in 1918. To purchase the property, he took out a loan from Grimstad Savings Bank, which at that time was located at Storgaten 44. Several years later, he climbed the stairs to the second floor of the same building, charged with damaging the country during World War II. These events are the theme of the summer exhibition at Storgaten 44 in Grimstad.

Please note that a ticket for a guided tour of the Ibsen Museum in Grimstad grants free entry to the Hamsun Museum upon presentation of the ticket.
